Apparently, Alex never kids.
I'm serious all the time.
Nothing is ever said by me unless it is a serious tone.
The fact that you two refuse to believe me is not surprising.
I'm completely understand how difficult making a prototype is FOR BOTH PARTIES.
That was the point of my post.
You choose to take anything I post in the most evil way possible for your own agenda against me.
And once again Matt...YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE THE EDIT FUNCTIONS, IF YOU HAD, HOSTBOARD software would not have allowed you to grab and bold my comment from the other day because It was already deleted.
The normal way to quote from another members post is to use the icon tools Hostboard provides.
I believe you cut and pasted the post the way you always do, which is the WRONG way on Hostboard.
But you are allowed to do it that way, if you choose. But if you had done it with the tools Hostboard provides you, you could not have quoted the comment because it was already deleted, even though you could still see it.
I pay the price for following the rules, meanwhile you get free reign to make your point however you want, and in the case from the other day, at my expense.
If the situation had been reversed, and I tried to quote a comment I saw of yours but it was one you had already deleted, the system would not have allowed me to quote you, and that would have been the end of the story.

I'm sure that's just what this idiot wants.
So Alex, I ask again for the tenth time: any Super-8 films in the works?

Roger,
Filing the gate sounds cool. Just wanted to say that a Nizo repair guy I spoke with recently said doing so in a camera would require that the gate be polished afterwards so that it wont scratch the film. You probably already know this, just bringing it up for sake of sharing knowledge.

Roger,
That is, I imagine you'd have to do the same with the projector gate?

i actually agree with alex somewhat. how could you not notice the smiley he put after the statement that you say "started this?" i sure noticed it, and was a bit shocked with the path this thread took. i just wish you would use them more often, alex. sorry, but you're not good enough with just words to get your jokes across. i'm sure you're a funny guy, but from your posts you always seem like a dead serious person who for some reason really hates some of the contributors on this board.

It would have meant something if Alex had a history of not changing his tune after the fact. Beyond that, it wasn't a smiley face designating "fun" or a "joke", it was a face rolling its eyes. I saw nothing funny about what he wrote, especially when I take into account his past public insinuations about my ethics, the quality of my work and the product I sell. For him to now back pedal and claim it was all just a joke in the face of his claim that me screwing Matt "could happen" is childish.

I find nothing funny or honorable about Alex at this point. At least when I step on someone's toes or go out of bounds, I have the decency to apologize publically. I have NEVER seen Alex apologize on this list; not once, even when his transgressions were insulting to most everyone that reads this forum (flying planes into buildings comes to mind). He just dissapears for awhile until the heat goes down then comes back with more nonsense and starts stirring up trouble again. Apparently he feels above reproach for anything he says or does, regardless of how insensitive or inaccurate his statements might be. As such, yes, he does come across as "a dead serious person who for some reason really hates some of the contributors on this board."
He hates anyone that threatens his notion of being a "guru" to the super 8 masses (despite the fact that he doesn't shoot super 8 at all).

OK, Alex, I am posting your statement AGAIN, so it can be obvious to all, that your excuses are completely irrelevant and off the subject entirely.
Can you honestly say, that the above statement you made is some kind of "warning" to me about what "could" happen to me if "someone" were to take advantage of me?

gosh Matt, do ya think just maybe the rolling eyes mean something.
nah, that would get Alex off the hook, and we could never have that.
Three more attacks.

(Matt Pacini responds
Alex, you tell another board member to f__k off, and you call that following the rules?
Yes, it was good that you deleted it later, but that doesn't mean you didn't put it up there in the first place, and like I've stated before, if you hadn't then I couldn't possibly have seen it, right?
And also as I've said before, I had no idea that it was possible to edit ones comments afterwards, so all you excuses are childish B.S.
And the other thing, please stop sending harassing emails to my house, OK.
You can attack me on this board all you want, but the next time you send an email to me privately attacking and insulting me, I will post it on this forum for all to see.
Brantley, are you hearing this?
Alex, nobody would have a problem with you if you would just stick to the subjects and stop troublemaking.
Anything we say is ALWAYS in response to some insult or assinine remark you make about us.
Self defense, get it?

Really? What about that secret meeting where you, Chas and I conspired to "get" Alex because.... well, because we have nothing better to do with our time?
Oops? Was I talking out loud? Sorry....
